Aqueons Internal Filter XS is perfect for smaller aquariums or terrariums and can be used as the exclusive filtration method in aquariums that contain up to three gallons of water. The filter keeps water flowing through it at twenty-five gallons per hour. Aqueons patented Quietflow technology keeps the filter running smoothly and quietly as to not disturb the fish or residents where the filter will be used. The pump in the filter is an automatically starting pump (it requires no priming) when connected to a power source and will restarts automatically if power is interrupted. The filter itself suctions cups to the side of the interior of the aquarium using suction cups, so it is not free-floating in the aquarium.
